Church Council
The church council is a body of lay delegates chosen from the congregation and charged with supporting the pastor in religious instruction, contributions to the church, and the financial stability of the church.
The responsibility of the Church Council of Hampshire Colony Congregational Church:
- Present church vision and ministry goals to congregation.
- Assist the Pastor in nurturing the spiritual life of this church and in the service of communion as planned by the Pastor, in cooperation with the worship chair.
- Plan and recommend the annual budget and stewardship opportunities for this church.
